Charmaine MagnusGraduated from University of Sydney in Health Sciences (BHSc Allied Health), Charmaine has over 10 years of clinical experience, of which 5 years woking at Tan Tock Seng Hospital specialising in geriatrics (elderly), neurology (strokes, brain injury etc) and orthopedic (fractures) conditions.  She received Ministry Of Health Human Manpower Developement Award (HMDP) in 2001, for a clinical attachement for geriatric rehabilitaiton, falls asessment and prevention and dementia care in Australia.  She continues to lecture in Occupational Therapy at the School of Health Sciences (Allied Health), Nanyang Polytechnic.

With her ability to converse in English, Mandarin and Malay as well as dialects (Cantonese, Hokkien etc), Charmaine is able to interact with clients of all ethic groups and social status.

Charmaine is a certified practitioner in:

Driver Rehablitation & Assessor Specialist (New South Wales, Australia)
She set up Singapore’s first Driving Assessment and Rehabilitation Clinic at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2000 and subsequently Nanyang Polytechnic in 2006. This allows Charmaine to accurately assess and recommend if clients are able to learn or return to driving with a health condition and plan their driving rehabilitaiton program.

Neuro-Developemental Treatment Therapist (NDTA)
Charmaine has used the NDT treatment approach to much success to rehabilitate clients to regain their balance, mobility, use of their upper limbs for writing and daily task as well as even their previous leisure interest (e.g playing golf)
